J. Reid Perry Attorney at Law, received his calling to the practice of law through a life changing event involving his son and only child, Austen. As a result of a physician's negligence, Austen was left blind. Rather than becoming bitter about Austen's plight, however, Reid determined to learn all that he could about the law, giving him the ability to protect his son's rights and interests as he continues on his journey through life.
In the spirit of Reid's vision, he opened his own office as a solo practitioner in Cypress in June of 2003. Reid determined to offer the services the community at large needs the most. Owing to his personal background and his years of experience in the health care area, Reid will not shy away from difficult assignments, including contentious divorces and probate matters, protective orders and custody. Reid's number one priority is to serve the best interest of each and every client, keeping them informed at every step along the way.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Reid worked as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, and has provided his services in this capacity both as a therapist and a manager in many Houston area hospitals, including ventilatory support, airway management, Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), patient education and staff training. Reid still puts in time as a therapist, primarily on weekends, in order to maintain his patient care skills and provide this needed service in the community. |
